Today at the CP+ Show, Tokina has announced the production of two new additions to their lineup of DSLR lenses.
The Tokina 12-28mm F/4 is a constant-aperture ultra-wide lens for DSLRs with an APS-C sized sensor. This lens extends more into the normal range to increase versatility and becomes equivalent to an 18 to 42mm lens on Nikon DX cameras.
The Tokina 70-200mm F/4 is a constant-aperture telephoto lens, directly competing with Canon and Nikon lenses of the same specifications as a light-weight alternative to the classic 70-200mm F/2.8 workhorses. This new Tokina features built-in image stabilization and is suitable for full-frame DSLRs.
These new lenses will be available in both Canon and Nikon mounts at an unspecified future time.
