Yesterday Think Tank Photo announced new additions to their lineup of award winning camera bags. First up is the Retrospective 50 shoulder-bag. This is a professional size bag capable of carrying 2 large DSLRs with 3 to 6 lenses and most 15″ laptops.
As part of the Retrospective series, the new addition is made of soft-side material to minimize its seriousness. The bag is sufficiently large to hold a Pro-size DSLR with 70-200mm F/2.8 lens attached. Exterior dimensions are 16″ x 11.8″ x 8.5″, making it small enough to quality as a carry-on for airline travel but larger than what counts for a personal item on most airlines. The main interior compartment measures 15.5″ x 11″ x 6.5″ and the laptop compartment is 15″ x 11″ x 1.4″.
Above is the Retrospective 50 in pinestone color. It will also be available in black nylon or slate blue cotton canvas. This bag is scheduled to ship next month as well as a smaller version, the Retrospective 40. More information on the product information page.
Next is the Glass Limo, a bag designed for carrying a single very large lens, up to a 600mm F/4 without camera or a 500mm /F4 with pro-size DSLR. It can also carry a tripod on the outside with supplied straps.
The Glass Limo shown here measures 9″ x 20″ x 9.2″ externally and 8.7″ x 19″ x 8.3″ inside. It will also be available in Novemember. More information on its product information page.
