Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ300

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ300 provides a 12 megapixels CMOS sensor and a constant-aperture F/2.8 stabilized optical zoom lens, equivalent to 25-600mm and first seen on the FZ200. This new model comes with an upgraded body which is now weather-sealed and features a higher-resolution 1.4 MP 0.39″ EVF with Eye-Start sensor.

A new image-processor in the Panasonic FZ300 allows it to record 4K Ultra-HD video at 30 FPS. It improves focus-speed and keeps a maximum 12 FPS continuous drive speed at full-resolution. It also supports 4K Photo mode which pre-buffers 4K images at 30 FPS to capture action at its peak.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ300 is scheduled to ship in September for $599 USD or $799 CDN. Adorama and B&H Photo are already accepting pre-orders.
