Today Nikon unveiled a significant upgrade to its P310 premium compact camera, in the form the the Nikon Coolpix P330. While looking nearly identical to its predecessor, the new P330 sports a larger sensors and still manages to keep the ultra-bright F./1.8 maximum aperture at wide-angle.
This premium compact uses a 1/1.7″ BSI-CMOS sensor of 12 megapixels with high-speed output up to 10 FPS at full-resolution. Its native sensitivity range reaches ISO 3200 and expands to 12800. The P330 is packed with advanced features including full manual-controls with dual control-dials, custom white-balance and spot metering. It also gains RAW file support.
