The Canon Rebel SL1 is an entry-level DSLR packed into a uniquely compact body. It features an 18 megapixels APS-C CMOS sensor with Hybrid AF II technology which combines on-sensor Phase-Detect with Contrast-Detect to autofocus quickly while recording full 1080p HD video or shooting with Live-View.
This small DSLR offers state-of-the-art image-quality with a wide ISO range of 100 to 12800, expandable to ISO 25600. Its newly designed mirror mechanism and processor lets it shoot continuously at 4 FPS. While it has a small buffer to hold 8 RAW files, its memory throughput is extremely high which allows up to 1140 JPEG images in a single continuous burst.
